Books basically saying it's over for Carolina. Fully healthy Panthers team can't even be favored by a field goal over a Seahawks team without their top 2 TE's and their RB.

At that line? No, public will be on Carolina. Getting a fully healthy 15-1 team at home at less than a FG is a square gamblers dream come true. I'd guess a lot will lay the ml juice as that is low as well. Now if the line was Seattle +4, it would be pretty even action.

And the public bets on over reactions from the previous week. They will doubt Seattle after they looked bad vs Minny.

I think the line is right where it should be.

Seattle is an incomplete team, but they are the defending champions. I am hoping Carolina wins big next week so that I can fade them at an inflated price in the NFC championship game.

i dont think there any way in hell majority be backing panthers, seachickens been on fire and to b2b SBs, hard not to see them getting plenty of support. i honestly have no clue, the last several years when these 2 meet they very good games that come down to a play or 2, even in the playoff gm at sea last year it was much closer than final score indicated.. my initial though is forget the side and play the over, got a feeling both qbs shine in this one..

And so I'm going to pass. What's so hard to comprehend? The books didn't inflate the line, so I move on to the next game. I never said I was going to fade Cam and Carolina unconditionally the first chance I got regardless of the posted number.

It doesn't exist (yet). The books didn't inflate the line for their first playoff game because they're facing Seattle. Had Minnesota won today, that would've been a much different story.

Hard to fade Carolina when the books don't believe in them. 15-1 and less than a FG favorite at home. But I'm not about to back Seattle, who is -- as I said earlier -- an incomplete team and the defending champions coming off of a bizarre road playoff victory.

It won't, but if it does, then I will probably give Seattle some consideration. I'm just not a fan of this Seahawks team. I think they're playing on borrowed time.
