the other day I heard him on the radio, talking about his drunk driving arrest.... he said he estimates that over the last 30 years or whatever he has driven drunk about 3,000-5,000 times....


then he said "WHEN you drive drunk be extra extra careful"

when pressed by the interviewer to help him recover by asking him that he "surely learned his lesson and would never drive drunk, right Charles?" Barkely just responded, "I wouldn't say that, I don't wanna be a hypocrite here...somtimes you have a few and you have your car there...blah blah"

there was about 5 seconds of dead air after that, I had to pull over I was laughing so hard I was crying

my respect for Barkley just went up ten fold.
He's going against prevailing opinion which is bullshit to begin with.
And he's right you need to be careful. And not so much because you will cause an accident any more than some one eating or talking on the phone but because they will **** you bad if caught.

If you drink which most people do, you drive buzzed occasionally. You'd think everybody that enters a bar does so with a designated driver.

All we hear is "drink beer, drink beer. It's cool to drink."
"drive truck, drive truck, every man likes truck"
