Why by points for teams that have a chance at losing by 20pts. I'd just by the favs down. Its a lock they will win, but by how much???

Houli, not true in a Game 2 playoff situation in my opinion. I'll take the desperate teams with the big pts. I would normally do an 8 pt teaser but the parlay actually pays better and I've capped these games where I think this has as good a chance to hit as an 8 pt teaser.

Portland isn't a dog. They will cover easily, I know the Rockets.

Detroit and Utah will keep it around 10-12 I think. I'll either win or lose, no big deal either way but the risk/reward ratio is worth it to me.

Well said Houlihans, why not just do a teaser like this on the lines that are most likely going to hit. Your not getting ridiculous odds, but it's still good odds.

With the teaser, I'm forced to take points I don't want. With the parlay I buy the points that I need, and I get a much better payoff.

I play mainly teasers and parlays, I think I have a good idea of what I'm doing. I'm up about 2500% in the last 3 months.
