State with most Sports Disappointments/Failures?
I vote minnesota... here is why.
Timberwolves - trades away the best player KG for a couple of busts. They have held onto Kevin Mchale for far too many years, also let go of Flip Saunders after he would get them to the playoffs every year... granted first round exits... but SPEND SOME ****ING MONEY. Also signing Latrell Sprewell... worthless.
Twins - Historically they are a development squad, they play hard, they try but they refuse to spend any big money and always let the good players go. Joe Crede is not a huge game changer in my opinon.
Wild - Lemaire gone, Risebourough gone, probably Gaborik as well... great hockey state but the state of hockey not so good.
Vikings - QB? Please....Adrian Peterson is a star, Bernard Berrian is a star and fast as hell... the Defense is good... but without a good qb the team will never be much more than a 8-8 squad... also NEVER won a superbowl and have not made it to one in like 30 years.
Gophers FB - powder puff wins... losses against any respectable team... nuff said.
Gophers Hockey - went from being a yearly contender to floundering and not even making it to the tourney. Lucia likely will have lots of impatient fans due to the teams melt downs
Gophers BB - Best thing going. tubby smith has done a good job... however give it another strong season and I see him leaving to greener pastures.
So thats my case for why MN is the state with the biggest disappointment/failures in sports.
