    Indian Premier League
What US friendly books are offering lines on this competition? Limits would be nice info as well.

So far I've seen Greek and Bodog but I haven't really looked too hard. Both of those have $500 limits on it.

Good luck with the offshore books. Plenty of Aussie and UK books with plenty of options as you would know.
A heap of betting opportunities - out of interest where do you see value betting in IPL?

I had Mumbai at -140 this morning but obviously the match got rained out. Couldn't believe it when they initially said they were going to play a 5 over match. Glad they didn't.

ha! Those dodgy Indian bookies were probably pressuring for a result!

            That's like a 1 inning baseball game!

My grandfather would be turning in his grave to think the 5 day match can now potentially be over in under an hour!

Fellas, are you talking about betting cricket? I'm going to be in India for 4 months coming up -- where can I snag some action? I'll be in Pune.

Do you think Indian bookies are crooks? Should I go through a local when I'm there or continue booking online? I am jonesin to lay down on some cricket.

There have been some incidents/allegations of match fixing in cricket in recent times involving Indian bookies. I have no idea about them with regard to their creditworthiness though.

It's the place to be in a couple weeks. Lions tour.

You shouldn't be worried about crooks when you have likes of Madoff. Around $2 billion were staked over 5-6 weeks of IPL last year. So, someone is getting paid. But, bookmaking (except horse racing) is illegal in India. What are you going to do when your 'local' gets arrested ? So, stick to online betting.

Btw, do you plan to visit Osho's Ashram as well ? Make sure you are clean.

Yeah, probably because the market makers haven't figured out whose lines to copy...
