I had a heart attack 3 years ago and was diagnosed with a form of heart disease, basically the problem is with my left ventricle (the one that pumps most blood) and it does not pump blood the way it should. I have had 3 heart attacks since I was 25... I have been told at one time I had 6 months to live, and most recently a doctor said I would be lucky to make it to 40... but its so iffy and people have lived for decades with no problems... it just so happens I have not been that lucky... obviously when the state catches wind of someone with such problems doing high-risk activities such as drinking that does not look good at all.Originally posted by Brock Landers

What is your insurance Actually doing to try and cancel you?? That shit has to be illegal or worth a lawsuit!

xstud: i worked in the private health ins industry for 4 years. I can tell you this. there are a few laws on cancelling policies with pre existing injuries/ailments. They are not allowed to cancel you per se. some insurances are capped at what they will cover but half a million is not even close. We only ever capped a transplant police and that was at 4 million. Look into it if your nervous my friend...doesnt sound right they would say that at 500k they will cancel. Not allowed.

Strangely enough i never had any problems as a kid. I remember getting some mild chest pains, had a hernia operation and that was about it. I have been told the problem was there all along and through my life it just slowly became agitated... My insurance is being douchebags by sending me out "federal rights" packets etc. I have had this kind of crap happen where they "Accidentally" forgot to renew my insurance during a hospital stay last August. Also, I have been on disability for 2 years and my employer is totally out of the picture now... (thanks sprint) so they are dying to get me off their books.
the only thing on my side is the government has deemed me disabled.. which blows and works in my favor at the same time.
Finally brock, a lot of people tell me I should do whatever I can... the problem is when you look at the big picture and realize that I could die on the table.... and I feel worse since this all started... what is my true motive to have something else done that WILL put me out of commission for at least 6-8 months... minimum.

Studder if open heart surgery makes your life better I would got for it in like a year. You can heal faster when your young.

JBC, you are probably one of the kindest people who I barely know at SBR which I appreciate more than you know.
right now dvd's are not a problem (thanks to torrents), xbox is a problem since I can't really play it since I tend to get worked up when gaming. I don't play poker at stars. BUT I appreciate everything more than you know and every single offer.
for future reference right now advice is the one thing that is more valuable than any other thing. I mean I am bored off my ass and border line up to my neck in medical bills I may never be able to pay off... my old gambling money budget will be going to meds for me on may 4th lol..
I am hoping that a few sportsbooks give me something for my bday to play with... that might pass the time.
In closing, you guys have been so great, my friends back in minny are all upset with me and I have not talked to them for about 3-4 weeks. So my phone rarely rings, I never hang out with anyone and I can't get laid due to my heart right now.. lol.
Honestly, I am alive and that's all the matters. I have school starting Jun 1st (assuming all the aid goes through) and I have a hearing at the end of the month to try to get out of here.. obviously have to save up for a few months to put together some money to move.. but still
Sorry about babbling and I don't want this to be a pitty party... i am as happy as a guy who is in my shoes can be. Don't worry I would never ask for help from anyone because that's the hardest thing for me to ask.

I dont know all the details, but I gather that u have two options. Do what u are doing now and u might get a little better, or have surgery and risk death? tough choice but I would get the surgery. Probably the scariest thing ever but surgeons can do amazing things these days.Comment
