Thank you Hells, Nicky says I don't know what I'm talking about.

He is wrong waaay more than he is right.

When Markov got injured, right then and there you should have said "there goes our cup run, sorry fellas, I was wrong"... You woulda taken some slack but I have no beef with that considering how important he is to the team. Instead, you wrote the injury off as insignificant and continued to tout this as the greatest team since 77 even with out him. This thread is too little too late.
Dave, once again you hit the nail on the head, I'm getting guff from guys saying I should let up on Nicky, but he has earned all the responses and taunting he is now receiving.

He would NEVER have let us forget it if the habs had any success this playoffs, paypacks are a bitch.

Also "Never wrong" = Always right, which Nicky clearly wasn't and obviously doesn't understand the meaning of.

The team was doing great at 27-11 and then all fell apart.. star player Robert Lang was out for the year. That's the day it all fell apart..then the injuries never stopped there. Markov (best defenceman in NHL) was out for the year too and by tonight, every star player was hurt except for Kovalev.. They never were the same since all these injuries.. There were 11 players tonight in the lineup who weren't even there when the year started. they were kids i had never heard of in my life. This was NOT the way it was supposed to be.

As Don Cherry just said, this team could have won the cup had they stayed healthy, but unfortunately, teams do get hurt and i never anticipated this..

This was the best Habs team put together since 1977. i was NOT wrong. Injuries cost everything.. and i know it's part of the game, and this is NOT an excuse by me, but i never expected it to be this bad.. Also, goalie Carey Price was a total disappointment this year. he was supposed to be the Next Patrick Roy and totally flopped this year. Had Carey had a stellar year and habs were not this hurt, I would have been at the stanley cup parade filming it for you boys..

But life don't always work the way you want it..

BTW, series STILL not over yet. we still need to lose 1 game, but this was the best habs team put together since 1977, but it just didnt turn out that way unfortunately..

You are hardly wrong about anything Nicky...

        Wish we could conference...
