It not like dal been getting killed they been mostly losing tight games. Despite what anyone thinks of romo I'm not sure how they can argue he isn't 6 points better than the scrub backups? Even rusty today he made a couple incredible plays and he gives the whole team confidence that if they keep it close they can win and that huge.

Depends where you wanna cut the top tier off at? There aren't that many qbs I'd take over him. Maybe 6 or so? I dunno there not a lot. To me he worth every bit of 6 points on the spread. I'm not a fan of any team, I don't care who wins unless I'm betting on it. He was a terrible call away from beating packers last year and I think they would have beat sea, that really 1st year where he had a championship team surrounding him IMO and he played well enough to win. A couple of the best qbs of all time don't have rings or only 1 (Marino and manning), no qb does it alone.

None of it matters to me, the whole point for me in this thread was there was no way dal was losing this week. Rankings and list are so subjective and ultimately pointless. Gl rest of the day.

well i guess i was spoiled because i grew up with staubach (my uncle had season tixs) I moved to ohio and had kenny anderson and boomer.Had season tixs last 17yrs til last year which my brother took over Section 128 row 30 seats 16-19. Watched god awful qb ing with jeff blake and assorted bunch of shit. Romo has frustrated the hell out of me because he gives a glimpse of being good but always seems to screw up at key times. As a mexican i would love to see him do well but his play at times leaves you scratching your head. If as opie says winning this game justifies him as a top tier than does tyrod taylor, bortles and fitzpatrick make it top tier?

He has certainly made his fair share of boneheaded even horrific plays in some key spots. He has also played his ass off on some teams that couldn't stop anyone and wouldn't even had been in games if wasn't for his playmaking ability.

Exactly how many qbs would you rather have that playing now? There not many Bradys and Rodgers up for grabs. Just cause is age I could see wanting few of the younger guys with upside but right now how many qbs are on a higher level than him? It not many.

Today wouldn't have changed my opinion one way or the other, it one game and 1st game he has played in couple months.( It was a great game to bet Dallas though and that really all I care about and point of thread I thought, obviously it has wandered way off course). He made several poor throws which again I think to be expected, he also made a amazing play to avoid a blitz that had him dead to rights for a safety and he managed to turn it into a positive gain with his athletic and incredible improvisation skills. Aikman had as good an offense around him as there has been in the history of the NFL. Not to mention a defense that was on a whole different level from what Romo has had to work with. Those 90 Cowboys teams were WAY more talented than any team Romo has been on.

Witten for sure but Novacek was pretty good himself. Dez and Irvin is a toss up but Alvin Harper runs laps around Terrance Williams. Emmitt is on another planet from any RB they have and as good as the current Cowboys line is they don't hold a candle yet to the Larry Allen led 90's offensive lines.
