If you boys want to see a real hockey city, watch the fans tonight just before the game, and you will know why hockey is #1 in the world here in montreal.. and don't forget, we are down 0-2.. i can imagine what it would have been like had we been up 2-0 in the series.. the building would have fallen down..

i tell ya honestly, IF habs win tonight, they are right back in the series and the momentum can really shift, and i am not talking from my heart.. just watch tonight and IF habs win like 5-1, this series can turn and could favor mtl easily.. momentum will really shift and bos will start to play worried and mtl can play with lots of confidence now and be pumped. The fans here can change the series fast. They will be rowdy and tough building will be tough to play in.

I only tune in CBC english when Don Cherry starts to talk in 1st intermission..

i would love to win the 1st round so i can bring my camera outside adn show you the cars honking their horns with the habs flags on window and all.. and this is just for winning the 1st round, not the cup.. just last year, when they won 1st round, they vandalized downtown. police cars were set on fire, stores broken in and many arrests.

Lucic out for Boston is a big loss, he sets the the tone for the Bruins with his physical play. Will be intersted in how the refs call the game early on, the game should be chippy, and early penalties could play a big role. Montreal must score 1st to win this game, they need the crowd behind them. I am curious to see if this Habs team has any pride or character, they are celebrating 100 years of Montreal hockey this year, and all year this Habs team has been a disgrace to Montreals past history.

Yeah but come on, it's not nearly that crazy. We were sitting in my apartment last year waiting for the game to start and all of a sudden, there was this huge wall of noise coming from the street. The only thing I witnessed that rivaled that was during the last World Cup, but *after* a game, not an hour before. We thought we'd missed the game somehow.

But you're right obviously, this city is hockey nuts, even more so since the 2004/05 lock-out IMO.
