Why do black people hate hockey so much??..

Boys, I live in montreal, hockey's capital of the world, and i have known 32 close black guys all my life, and only 2 of them like hockey. Everyone here loves hockey, but not the blacks..When i go to a hockey game, 21,000 fans, you can count the black guys there on one hand...maybe 2 or 3 you'll see, and those guys had free tickets or they wouldn't go. I've watched 900 hockey games on tv this year and i have only seen about 7 black guys in the stands total. I've been to many hockey games in the states in real black areas and you go to game and there are 18,000 white guys and 1 black guy.. If you want to avoid black guys, just go to an NHL game and you'll be ok. Next time you watch a game, look in stands after a goal, and you will NEVER see a black guy there.

I dont know why they hate hockey so much.. why is that? it's a tough sport, lots of hitting, fast paced.. rough, fighting and tons of fast action.. black guys i am sure would love this type of stuff. but they really hate hockey... I know they don't play it, but why won't they watch it. They fukkin hate the game..

archie, wtih chicago's big success this far up 2-0 vs calgary your city of all cities should be going nuts right now with hockey, but i bet no black guys in your area have even watched 1 sec of this.. I am not even sure if they've heard of the blackhawks.. if this isn't proof enough, then i dont know what is..

Fun fact #1: there are 25 black or half-black players in the NHL right now. I would've guessed 6 to 8.

the blackhawks alienated ALL of their fans up until this year or maybe it was last year...... they are just regaining a fan base and the trying to draw the young fans..... so blacks are the least of their worries.... they just refer to them as the hawks here.....so I don't think they want the black fans... hell the united center is smack dab in the middle of what used to be one of the worst projects in the city, but yeah I doubt you'd ever see any black fans there.

but in reality, a big part of it is this.... people groups are fans of sports they know, understand, play and have played......

i'm pretty sure there were no black slaves playing on the plantations down south, nor the sharecroppers... the blacks that migrated to the big cities during heavy industrial times played alot more baseball, basketball, and football.

in the Hood, baseball has become neglected for a few reasons... its a team sport, can't really play by yourself....

equipment costs, I know very few kids around here that have a glove, if they have a bat, their older brother, uncle or somebody will get some blood or brains on it soon enough. the fields are filled with needles. much easier to play basketball by yourself, or use your athleticism when you get to high school and they give you free equipment.

no hip hop connection with hockey or baseball..... basketball and football got all the rappers and thug players.....

Basketball and Football are way more popular than Hockey, what's the excuse for people not growing up in the "hood"? It's kind of reckless to limit it to just black players, when it more of an "Ameican thing" Hockey is more popular overseas than here at home.

They do not have patient and they really do not grow up with it. In the USA you have to be middle class and up to afford the game and blacks usually do not fall in this category.
