Colorado +1.5
Last year colo won by 31 at home as Scott and Gordon had their way with Auburn's front court. Bowers was held to a poor shooting effort, as was KT Harrell. I don't see Marshall transfer Canty as a big upgrade over Harrell, so I just don't see his going well for Auburn.

Grambling State +38.5
I think last year I'd expect Ohio state to win by 50 easily. But this Grambling state team is improved from their trainwreck season last year and Ohio state is still growing into their own. GS just beat up a DII team to get their flow going and maybe confidence up. OSU could easily thump them by 25-30; this spread is just too high IMO.

Still got my eye on Kansas.... Haven't pulled the trigger. It's a tough game for me to bet as these are my two schools I root for above all else. But My hearts with MSU, but brain with KU.

Thanks bud. I'm gonna take the rest of the night off and just enjoy watching the MSU-KU game without action. I lean KU & the under but can't bet on games that I'm so emotionally invested in. I got my MSU shirt from last year's final four on, but left my MSU jersey and KU gear in the closet lol

Gonzaga -25
Zags are one of the teams who are fully capable of winning these types of games early on in the season by 40-50. They should come out hungry in front of the home crowd for their "first" game of the season after the disappointing court issues in Japan. Northern Arizona continues its tough road stretch after losing by 12 to Wash St and by 20 to Boise St. - who they let up 101 points to. Gonzaga has the major advantage at the forward position, but N AZ returns it's point guard and shooting guard from a pretty decent team last year. I have confidence zaga's fresh guards can defend well enough and run the offense through the bigs.

Dom,
The Cardinal / Mustangs looks interesting. Lots of money going on Stanford, line moved to 4.5 from 6, players, Larry Brown????
What is your take.

Good call - strange RLM.
I saw -6 last night and really like SMU here. I think as long as Ben Moore and Marcus Kennedy stay out of foul trouble they should coast by Stanford. But Stanford plays big with 3 forwards and they're deep and draw a lot of fouls, whereas SMU is pretty thin at the forward position.

Seton Hall -3
I like their experienced guardplay led by Whitehead. Rodriguez has developed into a solid forward and Delgado was very good down low last year against Big East talent. The chemistry seems to be much better without Gibbs around this season. The Beach is coming off a big 1 point win at home vs BYU - who inexplicably couldn't shoot free throws, let alone jumpers, in that game. However, I think this inexperienced cast of characters will struggle on their first 'road game' (neutral site in S. Carolina) after short rest and traveling across the country.

SMU -5
Nic Moore is one of the best PGs in the country, proven by his Gold Medal he won as part of the Kansas-heavy US team in the World University Games over the summer. Along with Brown, Frazier, and freshman stud Shake Milton (shot 7/9 FG, 3/5 3pt, w/ 4 AST & 4 STL in his debut), SMU's backcourt is leagues above Stanford's. The Cardinal run their game through forwards who draw fouls. Ben Moore & Kennedy will have to stay out of foul trouble, as SMU is thin in the front court. Some heavy RLM moved this -3.5 spread to -6 as 80% of bets came in on Stanford, then got hammered down to -5.5 where 70% of bets currently lie on SMU.

Virginia -24
I like Virginia to come out strong after a loss, in a neutral game nice and close to home, against a Bradley team that AZ beat by 30. I expect lockdown D and high-percentage shots to fall.
Marquette +4
I smell an upset in Milwaukee. Iowa lost an exhibition game against (one of the better) DII team. This smells like one of those games where Iowa goes ice cold shooting. I can see Henry Ellenson and Fischer dominating the low post. They also take away Iowa's usual mismatch of stretch bigs, as Marquette's bigs can stretch as well.

I know Hofstra is decent but just don't think they'll be able to hang. Way undersized down low, and outmatched in backcourt by a scoring trio of Bacon, Beasley & Rathan-Mayes.

Miami -2
A hot shooting team vs a cold ass team in Utah. I think the U gaurds will greatly outplay the Utes gaurds here. Miami could definitely win this tourney.
