don't need to be a hockey expert to answer this. anyone can answer this. in sports, anybody can beat anyone on any given game, so the answer is yes. no such thing as it can't be done.. it's professional sports and there is no such thing as a sure game.. ana can easily win this one.

i'm on ANA +240 right now.. i got it as soon as it opened. win or lose, this +240 is a steal.that line should be around -210, no joke.. and even that's too high. ANA is a great team.

plommer, i dont predict winners, i only handicap bad lines and that line was too high. what they do on the ice is out of my hands.. the rest is in god's hands. all i know is when i saw SJ at -260 as the opener, i was all over the other side cause that line was too high. ANA is a great team and that -260 showed no respect to ANA at all.

besides saying habs were great, i have NEVER gave out any locks or predicted a game and said team A would win or it's a lock or whtever. this don't exist. no one can predict this shit and whoever thinks they can are living in a fantasy world. you do things like this, i dont.. you have locks for every game, not me. no such thing as a lock.

Nicky, I like to make fun of this kind of talk because you yourself said you were down big over your lifetime from gambling, as most here are - myself included and then you go on to say you always beat the closing number, a normal person would ask the question:
"what good does it do if you beat the number but continually lose money with no chance of ever getting back to even"?

Basically gambling on sports is futile, I'm well aware of this fact I gamble for the rush and thrill of winning/losing but I don't believe I can win long term.

I know hockey but that doesn't mean I can predict the future in terms of winners, I've learned that there are so many factors that are out of my control when I bet on an event, a bad call, a player thats not feeling well etc etc. can influence the outcome.

Sharks have had trouble scoring the last couple of weeks, I would not feel comfortable laying -220 or more on them. Hiller looked great last game other than his stickhandling of the puck. Joe Thonton needs to shoot the puck more, he has been terrible in the playoffs throughout his career. Sharks have been poor in the playoffs in the past, and until they prpve to me that they cans core and win in the playoffs I wont play them at over -200/ .
