Fan interference, I have no clue what they looked at. The fan touched the ball as the player tried to catch.

Hit the beer gut of the Yankee fan and bounced back in play.

JJ it didnt even hit the players glove. It missed and went into the fans hand. Thats why it was labeled as such.

Fan has the right to the ball if they deem it to be over the fence when he touched it. I think it was too close to overturn. I wonder what woulda happened if the RF had caught it as he was falling?

I was wondering about this, is the "burden of proof" so to speak the same as baseball as it is in football? Clear evidence to overturn? Or can they just make the best possible call they think after seeing the replay... Maybe this is just semantics...

Oh the YES announcers just answered. Same as football, clear evidence to overturn, otherwise stand by the original call...

These TBS announcers are idiots or really really hate the Yankees.

The ball clearly flew over the fielder's glove and went through the hands of the Yankee fan in the stands and ricocheted back in off his beer gut. Without that extra padding, he'd probably be headed to the ER.
