wow unreal...seems like you could almost hit a pop up hr out to right when there is a breeze. Stadium must be angled differently so the wind carries the ball a bit more.

**Already 18 hrs in 29 innings. Looking like a hitters dream park so far.

Have to see how other teams hit in there before really knowing. Yanks are not exactly a great pitching team.

The yankess dont have enough pitching, their middle relief is awful. Joba, would help the team better in a relief role. Wang is hurt or just doesn't know how to pitch anymore, I think CC will be ok. But their bats are old, Damon, Jeter, Posada, and Matsui are all showing their age. The yankees are a poorly constructed team. I love it as a Sox fan.

The ball park is different, there is no such thing as the same exact park, you can do all the studies you want with engineers, ect. The players are saying it is easier than Texas to hit hrs, broken bats, pops ups in BP all go out.

JJ the dimensions are the same, but how the ball carries could be different. I am sure the wind blows different out to right field. Still early, the sample size is small, will be a thing to keep an eye on.

Abreau no longer pulled the ball and hated running into the wall ,Giambi would have hit 30 hrs if he stayed healthy...But getting Texiera moe then made up for it...

Swisher will hit more HR'S then Abreau this year so its makes no difference

Its the same dimensions as old ballpark..The wind currents however are very strong blowing out to right field
