#44i know i been accused of being a name dropper. But at one time my brother was friends with chad foxx. He won a ring when the marlins won the world series on the team with beckett. He blew his arm up closing for the cubs under dusty. He stated dusty was the best manager he ever played for. They gave prints out to family members of the players. My brother who is a fireman in hpd traveled with them thru the nlcs and world series. he got me the imprint of mazerowski jumping on home plateOriginally posted by The GiantDusty Baker has completely ruined Bryce Harper.

#48I watched the Steve Bartman 30 for 30 yesterday and Dusty the Dumbfukk blamed him for the loss in game 6.
After watching that and saw the worthless human beings, otherwise known as Cub fans, I hope the Cubs never win shit.
Death threats against that kid. Fukk the Cubs
Sorry for the rambling in a thread about Nationals but that seeing that reminded me of how fukking dumb Dusty truly isComment -

He blew the World Series for the Giants in 2002.
He blew a chance for the Cubs going to the World Series in 2003.
He got completely out managed by Bruce Bochy in 2012, after being up 2-0.
And I'm sure there were others.
He might be a nice enough guy, and his teams get there on sheer talent alone in the regular season, but every postseason you can always rely on Dusty to somehow screw up.Comment -

#60unfortunately for Nats fans, it was either Dusty Baker or Bud Black...not much difference between the two if you ask me...I was never really a Matt Williams fan either...if it were up to me, I would have coaxed Joe Torre or Tony LaRussa out of retirement and given them the keys to the kingdom...two of the all-time greats with multiple World series championships...they both would have been chompin' at the bit to manage a team that is loaded with talent, pitching, and hitting like the Nats...and they know how to handle all of the superstar egos and how to push the right buttons...it's just a damn shame the Nats choked again...all you need to know is 1 for 10 with runners in scoring position...that is not to going to get it done regardless of who's managing.Comment -

#66Doesn't say anything about the Nationals. In a game where 3 hits out of 10 is considered excellent, the odds were against him. More so against the best pitcher in baseball with an ERA of 1.69. The odds were insanely against him to begin with, hell I would have been surprised had he come through with a single.Originally posted by packerd_00Cant believe Daniel Murphy popped up when they needed him most,he was meant to be the guy that would get them over the hump.
