This doesn't affect me since I was planning on driving anyhow. I can see that it would make a huge impact for people that live in Central Time Zone and further East. I'm curious to hear whose plans this changes on attendance. If the Bash ends up sounding like a lame crowd I'm still down to have all my chat buddies here at my place and we can just enjoy the beach and the fishing on the boat.

The SBR guys throw a quality bash. There will still be all the cocktails one can drink, free rooms, a free meal or two, free golf and a great poker tourney with some big cash for those who make the final table. Which hopefully will be easier if attendance is below last year.

Yeah, that's an excellent point Sickler. Even though I love to drink, I can do that just as well on the beach here in 75 degree weather as opposed to the stifling 115°F summer of Vegas. I'd basically be a prisoner of the heat at a casino with nothing to do. I don't play poker, don't care to bet on baseball from an onshore sportsbook, and don't golf when it's above 80°. I'm pretty sure all the guys from the chat room that I wanted to hang out with will eventually meet up at some point with a more entertaining agenda.

Besides, I was worried all along that if I brought a young-looking boyfriend that Bill Dozer would try to have me arrested for being a child molester. That asshole still hasn't apologized for casting those aspersions on my character. Poor form, Bill...

This is a great get together. Just stay away from the craps
table or what ever games you would lose $300 on. This could
be only one or two hours of play to make up your airfare. If that
don't work stay away from your first two hookers, that should
save you $300.

If it happens (and I hope it will) I will be there. Given you had to pony up the airfare first, if you can't afford the fare you won't be there anyways.
