BINGO! nailed it. Everyone should travel for a year or two. It would be nice if people here could see others around the world are just like us, rather than being afraid of something they dont know much about.
isn't this one of those life lessons they teach you in elementary school?
good to know what level youre on.

wrong.
Most conservatives think a vacation means a trip to vegas. their world view is shaped by drudgereport or foxnews. its why they spend time being scared of people with towels on their heads, or think they "know" how europe is. ITs just ignorance. Traveling will eradicate ignorance. I can almost guarantee you havent, just from how dogmatic you are.

exactly!
Most are sheeps and will vote what their parents, friends etc vote.
If you take a sheep from Iowa and transport him to California, Venezuela or England, it's still a sheep. The traveling never change a thing. Useless to even try.

ignorance is not realizing that islam is a religion of violence and has giving authority to their believers to kill and enslave non-believers wherever and whenever they wish.

youre the islam expert. I would expect nobody to know more than you. Go out to another country. talk to people not raised the same way you are, with the thoughts youve had since birth. Everything you say is WORD FOR WORD neocon blabber. From the low tax, to the ayn rand bullshit. Go travel. Grow up. Apparently you didnt learn the elemetary school lessons. You made my point for me. Irrational blather from someone whose every point has been disproved over the last 3 decades

I think the grass in England is better for sheep because of the rainier climate. Iowa grass freezes in the winter and is hot in the summer.

There are different degrees of how easily people accept their beliefs. It is a piece of cake to make the masses think exactly what you want, especially if you can control their minds through the media. Only those who pierce through the mass-hypnosis stand a chance. The others are sleepwalking through life. In this light, the fact that those so-called Republicans agree on every issue is quite humorous; where that should ring a bell for them, it instead gives them the false conviction of 'strength in numbers'. (That's also why these neoclones come to forums where there are others like them. The warm thought that there are others just as dumb.)

why respond if you can't counter the original claim. this is what every debate with you is like. save your ad hominem and red herrings for someone that that actually works on.

Im still trying to figure out where you got your degree in Islamic studies from. Does fox issue those? Im glad you like Ayn Rand, at least you know how to read. You can come back with every talking point you want, you still havent been outside north america, and have had the exact same "independent thoughts" since they were taught to you by libertarians or cato, years ago.

DO i really need to even address the logic here? Are you even serious. ? Where did you go to college? Seriously. Do you ever read on your own or is every book youve read, been recommended to you by someone with your exact same views, no doubt given to you in the womb by your taxcutting, small government, reagan-loving parents who probably told you , "why travel, it doesnt get any better than mini malls and olive gardens!!!"
come on dude, try harder.

Well, besides living in Texas for over 20 years and going to school and college there, Ive been to almost every major city in the US, and 5 continents. But keep up the stereotypes. Youre a very bright guy, thats pretty clear from your numerous anti black and anti gay remarks. Im sure nobody questions your intellect. Now, back to block for you genius.

please address your logic, ie logical fallacy. i've told you 3 posts now, and you still keep doing it.
maybe you dont know what an ad hominem argument is. and you must not know how to google. so let me make my charitable contribution to the less fortunate today and post it here:
ad ho⋅mi⋅nem
/æd ˈhɒmənəm ‑ˌnɛm, ɑd-/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [ad hom-uh-nuhm ‑nem, ahd-] –adjective
2. attacking an opponent's character rather than answering his argument.
SERIOUSLY DUDE, TRY HARDER

Im a republican, and I come here for SBR Odds, personally it wouldnt matter to me one bit if the forum was done away with. DH said it best, the media controls the masses minds, and right now the most of the media is to the left, and so goes the country to the left, till the next turn around, and it will turn again like it always does.

Why do republicans come to SBR to post?
a better question would be why do socialists place bets at all?
reno, for someone that despises profit motive, doesnt gambling go against your ideology?

good question.
I originally got involved in gambling as a way to make a living outside the system. I didn't want to be exploited through work, nor did I want to exploit anybody else.
I don't want to imply that my way is exemplary. But it is my hatred for the status quo along with other things that brought me here.
Gambling in itself I don't consider bad or good. It's a trivial pursuit. But as a means to stay away from doing what I consider negative things, it's good.
