Longtime poster and EOG mod Glaken, passes away at age 43.
With as much showmanship and routine forum wars as there are, he was the only mod in Forumville history to never have an enemy. He was just a nice guy looking to have some fun.

Too young to go. I will miss reading him and I hope he will be remembered often when folks talk about the true hall of fame gentlemen of the forums. I'd lay heavy chalk he was the same in his real life. What a nice guy.

    Glaken, you will be missed.

This might be the worst news I have ever heard on a forum. We have had people pass away at times and all are sad and too young. Glacken got me a job at EOG last year and he was a nice guy.

Man these are very scary threads when you hear about this, you know we bet these games and stuff but who really cares if we win or loss when you hear news like this.

This is my low point since I started posting.

          Glacker is in heaven now.

Sad news, indeed, and way too young.

Condolences to his family and friends.

I am in total shock over this. This guy was so nice and so generous and always smiled. He and the mw poster Stevo in my opinion were the two nicest guys I have ever encountered on forums.

He really was a nice guy. Most mods are just homers towing the party line. Glaken was just a dude who never had a negative word about anyone.

Those of us in the business and everyone else as well can take a lesson from ole Glaken. We would certainly be better people following his example.

Not in the mood to post much with this tragic news. He is one of about 10 guys out of 4000 or so on forums I have had phone conversations with.

Guys from the south are cool. Glaken could fit in with any crowd from Hells Angels to suit and tie geeks. You couldn't rile the guy up either. I always wondered how he could have soo dam much hair into his 40's? A good dude for sure.
