As an A's fan I can't figure out why the Cardinals don't use Brandon Moss more. Guy is clutch, hit 2 bombs in the wild card game last year.

From a Cubs bettor's perspective, I think it's a good tradeoff to give up that second run but get Wainwright out. No chance the Cubs were gonna score more off him.

Difference is those guys were quasi-capable MLB hitters. Cruz is basically a pitcher up there and hit a great pitch.

and tatddy like i said before he actually is a decent hitter and people don't know it. has a good stroke and when he's given extended playing time he always gets into a groove. hes just obviosuly never going to start in front of molina while hes healthy

yeah definitely should have made the play. 3 moments from that game will be with me until the day i die, the freese triple, the berkman single, and the freese home run. i remember them like 9/11 where you can picture where you were perfectly

I get that but we're looking at current situation and he's a .570ish OPS guy over 600 mlb at bats. Was a real tough spot and he was more than clutch.
