#3They actually used to play a team of college all-stars against an NFL team years ago. I remember them as a kid, but it has to be a good 40 years since they last did it. An all-star team did beat the Packers back around 1962 or so.
A team of collegiate all-stars could probably hold their own and even win a time or two out of 10 against a subpar NFL team these days. But just plucking one of the top 10 teams and letting them play an NFL squad, no, I don't think they would be able to do it.Comment -

#4What would you say the spread for the Raiders @ Ohio State would be? My Guess:
35.5
They would get their asses handed to em imo.Comment -

#5The Raiders would dominate the Buckeyes in every aspect of the game. It would not be a contest. It would be equivalent to the disparity that exists between Ohio State and Temple.Comment -

#6Raiders have way more speed, size, talent, and game knowledge. It really wouldn't be a contest, but do you think the spread is about right or a little higher?Comment -

#9so I could be a bit long...location would probably make line bounce anywhere from 14-20 points, but 24pts is probably on a neutral field.
Interesting tho thanks danComment -

That might get a lot of Buckeye backers.
Raiders would probably win by that amount tho...Comment -

#12That makes sense...OSU definitely does play college type football.
I would still love to see that game just because it would be interesting...I wonder what the over/under would be on the number of OSU players injured during the game.Comment -

#15The only team in recent years that I would have given a chance of staying within single digits would have been '95 Nebraska, just because of the unique style of offense and the dominant defense.Comment -

Do you really think that option based offense would last against a NFL team defense?
I think they would shut them down fairly easy. The option wont work in the NFL.Comment -

#21Originally posted by RazzIt would never work long term. However, I think that in a one-game scenario an option-based offense could give an NFL defense trouble.
I just think the adjustments would be made quicker in the NFL, and it wouldnt be to much trouble.
Anyone have any other teams that they think could give the NFL problems? This is good stuff.Comment
