Model that I am going to use as a base (not mine) and my own spin on the games has the Habs a smaller fav to win than what the odds are showing. Leafs are bad, but the home opener and under the helm of Babcock, and against a MTL team that's a bit overrated imho, I think there's value in a small stab here @+135. I wouldn't bet the Leafs at anything less than +135. It's a small position.

I also played the Rangers, but don't want to past post that

Not sold on Habs this year, but still think the price isn't too shabby against the damn Leafs either. And I'll rather take a small stab at the -1.5 then making a bigger bet on the ML.
Rangers? Nuff said about this game. Blackhawks are still Blackhawks, but I def like the price for Rangers tonight. I'm expecting to see something from them this year.
And Canucks? While I think this year is going to be a tough one for them, I am not so sure, that Flames are a big threat in this league as well. Flames will surprise us at times and lose big on other days. I just don't think Vancouver should be dogs today. (And of course I may be terribly wrong here)

Worst case I lose 5 units today, wouldn't be nice, but no problem as well. Just taking a few stabs I like and to enjoy the games a little more.
After the first 3 or 4 games it will be easier to understand some teams, as always.
