Anyone ever been a long time depositor at a book only to discover rules and policies had changed overnight or you just said to yourself you are going to quit gambling and you screw the book by doing a ********** and then a day later call the credit card company saying you lost your card and want a new one?
The money for any purchase you make that you dispute usually goes back into your account in about a day and the merchant can then resubmit again for the amount you charged. The only thing is,if you call the credit card company when the money re enters your account, you can say you lost your card and they immediately suspend activity on it.That means the book can't make any headway trying to charge your old card.
I'm not saying I would ever do it to a decent sportsbook but I had to do it when I bought movies at a great price where a hidden fee was added on to them from a company notorious for screwing people online. The credit card company knew about them from past experiences but I still would have had to arbitrate if I would have went the normal route.
