    CRIS - Nice to see...
...that they really improved again, some of you might remember that i posted several complaints about them some weeks ago.

Well seems they took the many complaints serious, and fixed a lot of things:
No downtimes on the page, always loading fast again for me.
Live chat guy is there in seconds now, and no more waiting times.
A new betting confirmation screen, no more price changing without warning. No problems with bets in general now.

Back to top 3 book status for me

they round you unfavorably when playing less than $100 increments. That makes it unplayable to me over the long term. All that swiped juice adds up

You won't lose anything if you keep in mind that they will always round down, in their favor. For example, on -110 juice always bet 11 to win 10, or multiples thereof (bet 55 to win 50 or 110 to win 100). Usually I'll just specify "to win" 100 for any negative juice and they come up with the right "bet to win"number for me. Do the opposite for positive juice, always "bet amount", and they'll come up with the "to win" amount. For example +180, I'll specify "bet amount" 100 or 10 or 50 or whatever, and they'll come up with a number that won't cheat me. It was annoying when I first joined CRIS, but now it's not a big deal for me.

I've notice that the CRIS is pretty fast and responsive as Yoshi mentioned, but I'd never really too many problems in the past anyway. Still, it's good that they are keeping on top of things.

And they have repeatedly bailed players out from STIFF books.

And they sponsor the excellent Beat The Prick contest.

Once upon a time CRIS found themself on the SBR Blacklist for the way they handled their rewards program. SBR was too small back then for them to be overly concerned but they were anyway. They asked that SBR rewrite their rules in a way that was fair. The rules are still there today.

You have to give a lot of credit to Ron, the main man behind CRIS. Yes, Micky, the GM, is the one that has taken them to A+ status but Ron was the one who took the ropes off Micky and gave him the green light in the postup market.

Yes, they used to remove people from the loyalty points program retroactively to punish them for betting at positive EV. That is, they would wipe out any loyalty points you had accumulated on bets in the past, which was akin to a book offering reduced juice and then retroactively regrading those wagers at –110. Completely wrong.

I know they still remove people who bet intelligently from the loyalty points program, but as far as I know they don’t make it retroactive and take away points already earned.

Customers are definitely screwed on the rounding—or inconvenienced by having to bet in only certain round number increments to avoid getting screwed—but the thing to remember is that the loyalty points (assuming you haven’t been cut off from them) greatly outweighs that disadvantage. I’m always surprised how fast those points accumulate.

Nice selection of sports and bet types there, and while some of the offerings are at inflated juice, they actually reduced the juice on at least some things recently.

Good shop overall. I find a decent amount to bet there, and I feel like my funds are safe.

I had some minor issues with their customer service early this year. Started playing there again due to winning in Beat the Prick contest. Everything has gone very smoothly this time around. I've got very good service in the live chat and withdrawals were processed in time.

Overall, they are a good shop in my book.

I don’t mean if you use the loyalty points free plays intelligently they’ll stop giving them to you; I mean if you’re a positive EV player in general they may remove you from the loyalty points program.

Interesting question, i think most peeps play large dogs to make the FP 75-80% cash. That should be ok for CRIS?

Hmm so if they have a line like -125/+105, they dont like if you take the +105 too often? Sounds strange to me.

No, that’s not what positive EV means.

                                I’ll try once more.

Books tend not to want to give extra incentives to players they believe can beat them over the long run. For example, you are less likely to be offered a reload bonus by a book that has you pegged as such a player.

CRIS has a “loyalty points” program where you earn points for each dollar you wager, and then can convert those points into free plays.

If you are a player they have decided is sharp enough to have the advantage over them long term, they may no longer allow you to participate in their loyalty points program.

In the past, when they removed a player from their loyalty points program, they also wiped out all the points already accumulated. Customers complained and multiple sites raised a stink about this, and they reportedly stopped doing this. They still take sharp players off the loyalty points program, but as far as I know, they do not retroactively erase the points already earned.

                                Hope that’s clearer.

I'm using a CRIS mouse pad with one of my computers

If you need more than 2-3 outs then CRIS is a must have.
