    Can someone explain to me?
Why a no hitter or a perfect game in baseball is exciting news but a 0-0 game in soccer or hockey where the goalies were catching everything left and right is boring?

because 0-0 games in american sports is rare, soi it's exciting when it happens cause we are not used to this.... but 0-0 games in soccer is every game, and that is boring..

The thing with soccer is teams will play for the tie, this does happen in regular season hockey sometimes with teams playing for the 1 point for going to ot. American's like winners and action.

Stating the very obvious, a no-hitter is not merely a 0-0 game. It's a feat, like Willie Pep winning a round without throwing a punch or Brian Boucher getting 5 shutouts in a row.

Those 5 games were probably boring as ****, I dunno, but the feat itself is remarkable.

because you see a no-hitter once or twice a year if you are lucky, less than 20 perfect games in over a century.

So you would pay money to go to a game and the only thing happening is guys walking back and forth between dugout and home plate with noone reaching first?
