same shit new year: rangers: the worst coached, worst defense, worst pithcing, worst pen. they are a great fantasy team, thats it. i hate them so much.

mets: new year, only one starter worth a shit. phils will win the east again

and im with you on baltimore, they cant pitch nor do they have apen, but their offense is legit, no doubt. and they have a GREAT defense in many spots.

Ryan, you are dead on. With Pelfrey looking terrible, the Mets have arguably the worst staff in the division other than Washington's. I question Philadelphia's pitching depth too, though. Florida and Atlanta really do have a chance to turn their fast starts into long term success in a wide open division.

Rangers are terrible. They really are a team built for fantasy baseball and video games. In the real world, it doesn't work.

Or Ben Sheets... certainly not out of the question. They have the offense and bullpen to keep them in the thick of things, but if two of the Perez/Maine/Pelfrey tandem don't pick up the slack, they will be in too big a trouble to even make a big move worthwhile.

Yesterday my under 9 was alive (only 7 runs scored through 7.5) when with 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th Kinney loses Upton (had him 0-2, then 3 straight balls and then hits him) and Conor Jackson comes through with the pinch hit homerun to put it over.

Isn't it my turn to get the break now?

That's what makes him such a valuable asset (at least for us). The "ace" of the staff, so he'll always get a more favourable line than he deserves, especially if he can throw an occasional gem just to keep people thinking that maybe he'll pull it together this time... For the most part he's fade material, with the over. Gotta love overacheivers coming back down to earth.
