Syracuse-4 vs Wake at the Westgate looks solid.

Missouri -10 @ Arkansas State looks real good. Mizzou is 6-0 away aainst teams under .500, and 8-1 as non-con favorites of 13 or less points. Arkansas State just got their tails handed to them by USC, and while they are 7-1 as a non-con home dog, they are also 0-5 as a dog after allowing 35 or more points.

Boise State -2 1/2 @ BYU. BYU is injury ridden and will not get a second miracle on Saturday. A win for Boise State and they should be able to run the table. At 13-0, worst case scenario is that they will be going to a Big 6 Bowl Game on New Years Eve or Day.

I posted this on my college picks and NFL thread...I did a 4 TM 13PT...loves these teams getting points in what should be all of these games going down to the final possession...only two line movements since I posted this last night...Oregon is now getting (+4.5) and La Tech is now (-1)...that is a 3.5 pt swing for La tech...I guess a lot of gamblers weren't impressed with Western Kentucky struggling with lowly Vanderbilt while La tech blew out their opponent with relative ease.

After thorough analysis I think there is a play on the Thursday game.

Western Kentucky +1 (or whatever you can get them at as more money coming in on La Tech)

Western Kentucky returns some key components from last years squad with 16 returning starters. Lest we forget that WKU won their final 5 games of the season last year including a shootout in overtime @ Marshall. QB Brandon Doughty looks to improve upon his already solid performance from last season, leading one of the nations most explosive and highest scoring offenses in the country. The issue with WKU last year was the defense and the number of big passing plays they gave up. All signs point towards an improvement in the secondary. 3/4 of the starters in the secondary were starting for the first time last year. The defense will be better. As we saw with Vanderbilt, this is a team capable of keeping a (pretty bad) power conference team from putting up big numbers. I think all signs point to a WKU win here.

You are correct, but fukk you, that was last year. It was also right before WKU ripped off 5 straight wins to finish the season. This loss really fired them up for the rest of the year. Also, WKU's biggest downfall is defending the pass. LAtech ran the ball a ton last year and will likely continue to do so. Not even going to bother looking at the box score for the LaTech/Southern Game because A.) it was against a damn FCS team, a really bad one at that; and B.) Fukk you.

This is the year that I believe WKU is the clear second best team in the conference. They just have to prove it to me.
