It's amazing how when guys get up to be Arnold Palmer's age they still score well and can probably compete well in local club tournaments but they say their game is totally gone.Anyone see Arnie tee off as the ceremonial first striker at the Masters?He has an abbreviated god awful looking swing but still smacks the ball straight and long.It's amazing the best pro can hit at a tournament at all with people crowded around you all down the fairway.They always say Trump is practically a scratch golfer.I don't see how with the swing he has.Most NHL players have a longer back swing windup on wrist shots.As you get older you lose almost all ability to even scratch your back.You just can't move your arms for stuff like back swings.
The most uncomplicated swing where he probably was almost self taught where he will never change and tweak his mechanics much is Angel Cabrera.Woods and the vast majority of golfers are complicated swingers where they get frustrated and change swings all the time.It's not easy watching Woods golf if you bet on him.In almost every tournament segments of his game break down.He's amazing at recovery where he can make up for a poor part of his game by coming through with another part of his game big time though.He just doesn't have the complete package going much though.
What comedien uses golf in his routine alot????I saw the guy on the Comedy Channel doing standup and he said how guys broadcasting golf say golf shot all the time.What the hell are you supposed to do on a golf course,hockey shots,shots with a 38 caliber gun,why not just say shot?Annoying now when I hear it on golf tv but hilarious too.
