Just got the check from my big poker tourney win from last month.

Was in the local grocery store the other day and saw this thing. A $50 scratcher. Unreal. I've never seen one over $5 before in Los Angeles.

Top prize is $13 million .

Thinking about buying one with my winnings, and scratching it on a video.

Then I remind myself that it is FIFTY dollars, it is a fvcking scratcher, I never win anything on scratchers, and I'm fvcking unlucky as hell.

Should I go for it?

That is the worst part... when I do stupid shit like this, I end up saying "damn, I should have done ____ with that $50 instead", then I do that too so I don't feel as bad. Now out $100 haha.

Dave...an interesting thing to look up would be ( state by state) the annual amount of ticket revenue compared to what is actually paid out. I know in NY its at least billions because the slogan goes " Raising billions to educate millions" as the original idea of the lottery was to fund education - Didnt really work out too well because of the thieves in Albany.
