I think he lasted 2 months the first time and saved up to try again and it was a little more successful the second trip. Now his wife and kid stay or go there with him on these trips??

Unsure of everything in it's totality but that is the gist.

He sets aside or wins a certain amount and takes it to vegas to try and provide for his family/himself on that set amount for as long as he can.

It is probably a struggle/rush and every bet may mean going back home to your wife and baby girl empty handed or that much closer to making it bigtime. Jay is an inspiration for those that want to live that lifestyle and a boon for men that value family and working in a lumberyard 9-5.
