So if he was suspended for 6 starts by MLB then the Redsox can start him for 6 consecutive games by letting him throw the first pitch of the game and then replacing him to fullfill his 6 start suspension.

I'm a huge Sox fan and Beckett is one of my favorite pitchers but i kind of agree with you there. No sense for what he did.
