How can anyone drink scotch?

Guys, I'm a borderline alcoholic. Definitely not picky. I've been branching out and trying a lot more things late, but I've never been a scotch or gin fan.

I can tolerate gin & tonic, but nothing with scotch... no scotch and water, no scotch on the rocks, nothing... I'll choke it down, but seriously... how does anyone drink this?

Get a bottle of Balvenie Caribbean Cask and it will change your mind on Scotch. $58-$69 bottle in most states.

It is a tad sweeter and easier to drink. The best way to drink Scotch is over whiskey rocks instead of ice. Ice melts and waters down the Scotch. Most avid Scotch drinkers I know will drop one or two drops of water into 3 fingers of Scotch.

Incorrect. There are a lot of liquors I can sip on. Tequila, Bourbon, Whiskey, even a decent Vodka. Scotch just does not go well with me, even nicer bottles. (I have a few older friends who are loaded and have given me expensive scotches, gins, etc).
