Sometimes it's easier to determine who it isn't going to be, and you can narrow from there.
Beware though, I have metrics and market indicators that are just screaming Justin Rose. If it's not him, I would look for a repeat golfer. Maybe last year's winner, he's coming off of injury, or a recent winner. Maybe it's Spieth or Zach, both repeat majors. Or what about Jason Day. Ricke Fowler?
Bubba Watson definitely looked like he was tuning himself for next week.
I say start eliminating golfers.
Check their histories on this course. Which caddies and which golfers do well here. This could be a null exercise as they are all so good.
The markets will be inflated so I would lean to some of the more favored golfers next week.
Most importantly, drop a dime on the toughest ones for you to make.
A little Dustin Johnson or Justin Rose anyone?
