Manny Says He Wants to End His Career in Cleveland
How would you feel if you are the Dodgers...he makes this statement a little over a month after signing a contract with L.A.

The Dodgers have all the pieces to run away with NL West, Manny better not turn into the distraction that holds that team back...

Did he really say that? What a dildo.

It's a shame that people who are such dildos can get blessed with such talent.

Talent should be reserved for non-dildos.

He indeed did say it and indeed is a dildo. Here is the link to the story on ESPN that got posted after I heard it from a couple other sources. Looks like they just threw this up in the last few minutes.

Given his track record, if the Dodgers went into this contract with him not thinking he might be a distraction then I believe they are the ones at fault and have no sympathy for their naivete.

Kind of like the Cowboys signing Pacman Jones or the Celtics picking up Stefhan only not

I'm not even sure which part of the story to focus on. The crappish nature of telling your teammates and home fans that they are somewhere down your list of people you would prefer to be around. Or the whole concept of romanticizing that Cleveland team so much.

As I recall, the Yankees of that era won about 4 World Series. Cleveland? I believe the total was more along the lines of: diddly-squat.

                  Whatever. What a dildo.

If it didn't snow, I would be living in Cleveland as well. One of the best cities in the world. Don't let the jokes fool you, its an attempt to keep outsiders out.

LA cannot hit, they are not going anywhere. An average team. I would release Many, he is a cancer to any team.

BFD. Other players have said something similar while playing for other teams.

Even one of his teammates, Casey Blake, has said he wants to finish his career with the Indians.

I guess it's just Casey being Casey.

I cheer against any team that has that doucheclown "Manny" on it. The guy is like a petulant spoiled, diapered 3 year old child when he should be down on his hands and knees every single day thanking God or the universe or whatever for his circumstances.
