    Quitting gambling..
    Been there, done that.

Prolly say 95% of you are you addicts like myself (or soon will be). The point originally is to make easy money. And you do that in the beginning.... but along the way, sooner or later, you begin to fall in love with the 'high' .... and this becomes your focus.

    Then you become a junkie.

Anyways, this thread has been written a million times.... by countless others before me and by countless others who will come after me. Naturally, I have written this thread several times .... but this time it's actually it. I'm done. I just destroyed everything I have related to gambling. And this is good.

Before going further I'd like to happily state that I never resorted to doing what RyanXL does; that is, turn into a Castro district two-trick pony tranny turning tricks in the San Francsico early morning hours. (Word has it that Rogue Scholar and RyanXL are mutual sausage tasters.... go at it you crazy liberals)

ANyways, back on topic. Best of luck to all of you out there.... unless you're an asshole.

Gambling is a waste of time unless you're in that 1%. I, myself, have become an absolute junkie... no denying it. Even if I was given 50 million dollars I'd do exactly what the old Eagles owner did...

If you're young and in college... don't ****ing gamble. Drink, study, fvck pussy (as much as you can get), eat lots of pussy (make sure she's clean and deserves it... and will reciprocate by blowing you).... but don't waste your time gambling.

We all think JJ is highly entertaining... but none of us want become a JJ. Not even JJ. JJ doesn't even want to be JJ. No offense to you, JJ, you're a decent dude. Your videos are the best. You are hilaroius.

I reccommend JJ follow my lead and do what I'm doing right now. Quit gambling, stop posting, and invest in other shit.

I wasted a lot of time and money... lots of youth in this ridiculous shit.

I want all of you young ****s out there to look at Farah Faucet (sp). That whore was a hot young piece of pussy.. but now she's old and goes strolling about in a wheelchair and looks like the fumes rising from a recently plopped buffalo shit. She was a real hot bitch... but time happened to her... as it will happen to everyone...

When you gamble, you don't just lose your money and **** up your other areas of your life... you LOSE YOUR TIME.

Soon you will be a decrepit Farah Faucet or Clint Eastwood ... all wrinkly and croaking.

What you have is NOW.... and that's worth more than all the wagers you'll ever make.

If you are a liberal, go **** yourself and stop destroying the United States. Choose wisely, guys.

You just can't let it become the only thing in your life. Been gambling for years and I've never understood how some people let it get out of control. Every other day there is an article in the paper how some woman accountant has been arrested for ripping her company off for funds to play scratch tickets or to support her Mohegan Sun binges. Just never grasped how gambling can become an addiction like drugs or alcohol. That being said, best of luck in your future endeavors milf.

I'm glad your back pat. Didn't think we hear from you again, you were gone for quite a while. Great to have you back. Don't post as much as I used to, been busy, not a lot of time to be parked in front of the computer.

milf, really enjoyed your posting here, and you will be sorely missed imho.

but i love playing the ponies and my dream is to play a round of golf, goto the track and die while getting sucked off hitting the daily double.

pm me if you need support.

gl. quitting is the best thing you can do...there is nothing good that can come out of gambling. even the ones that have made it are not happy.

trust me, i been there. i know why you're betting all those aussie games because they're the only ones on the board.

                                so true man

i live in westerly RI....bout 15 minutes from the woods...and not much longer to mohegan....and those stories hit the local papers all too often....

recently there was one about woman who was ripping off a therapeutic horse riding farm where she worked

and theres always the local stories floating around town....people handing over there business or homes....remember one guy known around town....lost his home...round 500k....which caused a divorce....so one saturday i decide to kill a few afternoon hours and play some blackjack and who do i sit down with?? lol

i like to go play blackjack from time to time....but other than shows, clubs, or boxing...i stay away...and just play the books...and i never play more than i can afford to lose....and i dont owe a dime on any of my credit cards

Actually just the opposite for me I lost a large bankroll quite a few years ago. I am back now betting small and up. I am very disciplined and bet 2-7 games a week. I built up a nice bankroll from nba and nfl and just bet when I feel like it. I went throught the stage you are going through years ago...

Good luck in whatever you decide to do with your spare time... G.

Wow...also I was just looking through some of your posts... Sorry you are losing so much. Seems to be a very good reason to quit! Also you have been averaging over 500 posts a month... It is going to be really tough for a degenerate loser like yourself to quit.... But good luck anyways!

I am very disciplined and bet 2-7 games a week. I built up a nice bankroll from nba and nfl and just bet when I feel like it. I went throught the stage you are going through years ago...

Good luck in whatever you decide to do with your spare time... G.

For me, the same as G's pks and the poster. I lost a large bankroll, swore off gambling, androte a long note about the stupidity of it and how my life is in shambles because of gambling.

                                                      I still gamble.

BUT, i have learned discipline and self control. To be a successful gambler, you have to manage your money and make smart choices. Betting it all on one bet is not smart. It's a HUGE rush and it's fun, but it's destructive downward spiral gambling. To be successful, you have to stop "Gambling", and start becoming a disciplined, controlled, money-managing, and risk-managing "Investor". It sounds cheesy, but you have to stop "Gambling" and start making "Calculated Risks". It's not as fun and not as wild of a ride and the high's aren't as grand, but the lows aren't as bad and won't send ya towards wanting to end it all.

If you stay away, that really may be the best idea.

If you find your way back, then stop being a "Gambler" and become a "Calculated Risk Taker".

Find a way to get your highs elsewhere. I do it with golf and other things.

Life's a journey not a destination. We all have demons in our lives that raise their ugly heads and when confronted, we need to take a path that the heart and mind know is the best.

being in the sportsbook industry, I see the the addicted gamblers and their path to complete desperation and how they lives are forever changed. Some can keep it to a dollar amount that doesn't effect their lives (like a form of entertainmant) but many let it become a huge problem that basically ruins their lives.

I bet also and love the thrill it gives but thankfully I am able to keep it to a non-life altering hobby but I can appreciate with my addictive personality, it can also take an unfavorable hold in my life. I hope that if it ever does, I wil be able to take the right action.

                                                                    Good luck with your decision!
