Just for fun I will join debate. I'm a bases history buff and LOVE it! But I never saw Hornsby, Ruth, Mantle, Williams , etc play myself so gonna stick with what I know and saw. Gotta go Brett , Gwynn , Bonds , Boggs, Griffey Jr (who had sweeeeeetest swing ever). Guess that's my list but this goes a long way with me. One reason it's such a "huge" deal now honestly is because of sites like this and stations like espn who want to keep dumb gums flapping and fingers typing with moronic endless debates.
