Took the over here at 6.5, two times bases have been loaded and pads pitcher comes up so no more runs scored but 3 in already and Lincecum has given up 7 hits so hopefully it will cash. Is lincecum going to fade into the abyss or bounce back this season?

unless there's something physically wrong with him, he'll have a good season.

He has the mental makeup to make it in MLB and he's just too talented not to bounce back.

However, with a pitcher as slight as he is who throws as hard as he does, you come to expect injuries.

He admitted prior to the season he was feeling a little off. I don't think its an injury just mentally off maybe? We will see hope the kid can get back on track

With that small frame he puts a ton of stress on that arm. Small guys can't throw that hard for a prolonged career.

He isn't throwing that hard and thats when I feel that something is a bit off either mechanics or physically. He is topping out around 91-94 range , last year was more like 95-97 range. He has all the tools to bounce back.

yeah he did throw way too many pitches and innings down the stretch. What he did in September was ridiculous. And this is not some obese 6'7 guy like CC. He's very slight for a major league starter.

well this over should have cashed now i'm guessing it won't Lincecum left bases loaded 3 times and every time they somehow got out of it pitcher out twice and now giles double playt bvall

I thought the Cy Young push they put on last season was really stupid, but I guess they felt the fan base needed something to root for. Its too early to tell, but we may be paying the price for it now.

I should have known to just play the pads as the only real reason i took the over is Lincecum playing like balls I played over at -110 when pads were even money i just hate playing side

as a rule if a young pitcher goes 10-20% over his highest innings pitched in one season, he has a very good chance of having trouble the next year, (dead arm) I think he went up close to 30% over his career high in total innings pitched from 07 to 08 and a similar percentage from 06 to 07.....

                                he is fine
freddy lewis jumped the wrong way in the 3rd, or whenever it was.
i would say maybe 1-2 of those runs is lincecums fault
                                he is fine
the giants wont win 80 games, but he is fine

with the giants, likely 35-40% road win team, vs a very very good starter and better hitting team. but timmy is fine. unless he is hurt, he is fine. its so early

cliff lee, on the other hand, is a fluke

well ive watched the whole game, and he looks just fine to me. honestly. the runs werent his fault,. if lewis catches the pop out, nobody scores. the giants cant hit, thats why theyll lose, but lincecum doesnt look hurt. he just hasnt been very good yet. he got hit by milw, nothing wrong with that. and this game was kind of fluky.

how bad is the nl west that the dodgers can go into AZ, without any decent starter (wolf, stults, and soem other scrub), and possibly come out of there winning 2 of 3. AZ has the worst hitting in baseball, im thinking

yeah it amazed me that the Giants D never failed him last year....

well, I guess that's all it is was the last 2 starts.... the defense FINALLY bit him in the butt...

                                              he's fine.....

for me? I see that he is wild... not wild like walk a million guys...but it doesn't look like he is hitting the spots his catcher wants him to hit, and is throwing too many pitches in the center of the plate, although he is walking alot more...

go back and look at last year's games...see how many times Timmy gave up more hits then innings pitched in a game...

how many times did he have non-quality starts back to back ( I hate that stat but whatever)

                                              he's not the same
