Blue Jays are the best team in the majors right now.
Don't argue with me.
Best record, best run differential.
god bless.

They sure are! The Jays need to win every game that isnt against the Yanks, Red Sox or Rays.

They are on pace for a 135 win season. That of course is not counting the additional posts season wins on the way to the World Series title.

They do have a solid team. I have said before the season started that they are one of the most underratted teams in baseball. With that said, if they keep this up, the AL East will get even crazier which is not a good thing for my yanks or for boston. And then Tampa bay might be in that mix too

If McGowan and Marcum weren't both out for the season, I'd definitely be a little more excited about the Jays' start. With Snider and Lind looking on their way to break out seasons and Aaron Hill looking like his old self, this offense looks pretty good. But how long do you expect Rolen and Wells to be healthy for? BJ Ryan forgetting how to throw the ball fast is a concern, too.
If everything falls into place for Toronto this season, they could be competitive this year... but the season will likely bring plenty of obstacles.

Last year was all about pitching, and this year will depend on the offense.
AL East will be very interesting this year indeed.
Baltimore is off to a good start as well.

If it was only 4 games into the season I might still be cautious but 6 games?
Plan the parade route.

It would be fun to see them displace at least two of the 'Big 3' now in the AL East. Like VD said, too bad about Marcum and McGowan being out. Would love to see Cito lead this team to an upset in the end.

I'm not so sure we really know who is good or not yet, crayzee. A month and more into last season, the consensus was Tampa Bay was still playing over their head, so we'll see. It's too early to actually anoint the Jays as the best team; numbers may say they are the best statistically to this point, but with only five games or so under their belts, they are no more the best team than Emilio Bonifacio is the best hitter.

gotta play at least half the season to see whos really good-unless 5 teams are neck and neck- then it will take all 162 games
if toronto can hold their own with yankees tampa and boston then they got something
oh i forgot baltimore- maybe they are the team to beat

they're at least proving SI wrong. SI's baseball predictions had Toronto in last place!
I don't see how they could finish behind Baltimore. Baltimore is awful.

No, not really, but they will be at the top next year.
This is just the warm up until they get all their pitchers back for '10.

Tampa has too much pitching talent to finish 4th. They are stacked.
