    Meeting rollover...
Sometimes, you just need 0-EV action. If you can get even 0.5% EV, all the better.

Chasing rollover while minimizing volatility, I found myself betting snooker and lacrosse. I've never watched these, or read the first thing about them. But hey, as long as you get good numbers, who cares?

A rule I wish I would listen to myself say. Pass unless you can get the best of the bet.

LOL. How do you even know they are good numbers? Is there enough volume in any market for those sports? I'm glad I don't have to deal with rollover any more.

If the books are dealing a moneyline, and a +/- 1.5 runline, you can calculate a conversion rate for different options, and pick off the best.

Another approach: If you have 3 books dealing the same game, estimate the no-vig line. When playing big favs or dog, it is NOT the middle number. You don't need a scalp, just a number better than no-vig. These appear all the time in minor markets. I think I picked off about 3k in random stuff I've never bet one book today, with no bet more than a nickel.

I guess you and I differ. If I can't be sure a market is efficient, I wouldn't be willing to assume my line is "good." I'd need to be able to scalp it if I had no idea what I'm betting on.
