When we were dating I was living in Vegas and she had been there for like 4 or 5 days and hadn't made a bet so I was talking to here on the phone while she was waiting for her flight out... Over the phone I convinced her to put $5 in a $5 slot machine so she could at least said she gambled while she was there and after a couple seconds of waiting for her to tell me what happened and hearing the continuous slot machine noise she says "I keep pulling the handle but the only thing that keeps happening is the wheels keeps spinning"... Apparently she hit on the first spin and didn't realize she had won and keep playing the machine... I finally got her to stop still up like $20 bucks... She never could remember how many times she played but I think she must of won at least $50 on first pull as long as it took here to respond...Comment -

Another one of my wife's gambling adventures... When I was Vegas for the bash last year I was trying to clear a promotion playing $1 VP... . she wanted to play and get drinks so she put in a twenty and is playing nickels with only the vaguest concept of basic strategy... Every five minutes she is hitting four of a kinds and straight flushes left and right and grinning ear to ear while I can't hit anything and feeding the my machine multiple hundreds and down significantly over the value of the promotion I'm trying to clear... Finally, (upping her coin denomination as she wins despite my protests) she is up over a $100 or so and decides she going to stop because she "likes to quit when she is ahead...."
