This is is actually lebrons fault. Had he not left the cavs originally, he would be making more. He went to Miami, who could not pay him as much as Cleveland could. He took less money to put together a "super team." He could do the same in Cleveland if bringing a championship to that city is as important as he says it is.

#72Forget what the moneys for, he probably gets most of that stuff for free, you should do like Lebron if your work is worth what he brings to the Cavs. Why should your boss, or in Lebrons case Dan Gilbert, earn ridiculous money off of your sweat and pay you the same salary as someone not on your level? Are you saying Lebrons place on the following list is acceptable? If I was him I'd lmao before answering hell no!

#86So let me get this straight, Lebron is greedy if he takes the max (like every other high profile player). Then if he doesn't, to bring on more talent, he's bashed for putting together a super team. Yeah this all makes sense.Comment -

I didn't realize why LeBron James opted out at first. But from a business standpoint... this chart shows how much he would make each year... by constantly opting out of a "2-Year Contract" after the first year. He's trying to get a Max Deal each year.
He's still an a$$hole though.Comment
