people love to point to his FT %. Sweet, he doesn't shoot well at the FT line, almost every center is the same. Deandre is the worst of them but who gives a shit about his FT %. He is #1 in FG %, #1 in rebounding, is an absolute beast on defense. I'm not saying he's absolutely a max contract guy, but he's worth a ton. At least $15 mill a year. You could put Deandre on another team and he would be a Demarcus Cousins type player, but he's got Griffin and CP3 so he takes a back seat on offense.
But, he is a monster. He can't make his FTs? Big deal - he rebounds, makes his field goals, sets great picks, is a fantastic defender. Really not much more you can want in a big man.Comment -

Agree with some of this but he is not a tremendous defender. 40 year old Tim Duncan was scoring at will inside in multiple games in that series. He is a great rebounder and makes dunks, but other than that he is average to poor in everything else.
