I played baseball for a while....up till 10th grade....was a SOLID 2nd basemen. All=Star every yesr in little league and always batted 1st.
I was a great bunter, great defender, but was a .225% hitter. So, I had to stop playing b/c I coulnd't hit other than bunting.Comment -

onner, that's a helluva lineup.... but we need to make a few changes. we will never win with AAO in that lineup.. what the fukk is he going to do? there will be 34 passed balls an inning and i can't picture him throwing any base stealers out, in fact, i dont even see him making the throw reach 2nd.
and RJ clean up? you kidding me.. did you see his baseball batting cage swings 6 months ago?? worst display of anything i have ever seen. he swung like a girl. He'd spin 3 times after each swing and a miss...And we will need VD to hit for power. VD is a power hitter and can hit to all fields. He can't hit any ground balls or he'll be thrown out easily at 1st. VD has no speed whatsoever.
anyways, since i'm manager, allow me to build this team my way and bring home a winner to SBR.. the way you have it now, we have no chance.Comment -

getting rid of AAO and RJ. both are on the trading block. we cannot win with these 2 in the lineup.. esp aao.. he can't even throw a ball, how do you expect him to throw out runners.
i am interested in acquiring blitter and amber, those are the 2 i want on this team.. if we can pick up those 2 for our 2, we can go far.. i want VD as our DH, too.. i dont want him fielding.. put him clean up instead.. he's got no speed out there.
the lineup looks pretty solid aside from that... archie is a good athlete and slicker is great as a leadoff hitter. tremendous speed and he will get on base alot.. also get Iwin on the roster and replace him with AAO behind the plate. he can block alot of pitches too..
after this, we can go all the way... this team can go very far. but not the way we had it before. too many holes.. and patty as our starting pitcher will be good. he can go 7 solid innings for us. we still need a bench for pinch hitters and a bullpen to close the door for patty..
we will work on this later.. let me go do some scouting. i have a few in mind.Comment -
