Best part about this was the houston crowd gave worthy a standing O when he showed up in like the second quarter.....

I think I was living in L.A. (well, newport beach) at the time, and was watching Chick Hearn on the Laker broadcast, and he didn't get it that the Rocket crowd, all of whom knew about the bust, were more or less jeering worthy as he returned and having a laugh at his expense, as hearn says "This Houston Crowd is showing a lot of class in supporting James here, what a class act!!!" great laugh, no doubt.....

what i also loved was this was late in the season, when most reporters/announcers are talking about the "grind of the season" and how the minutes add up..... not for Worthy, he's wanted a f'n threesome just hours before the game!!!!

still respect the shit out of him for all that!

There are a few harden / Howard Haters in my circle and I've been defending both guys for years but now I can no longer do so. Game 3 was unacceptable. I hope they get their doors blown off again in game 4

They were -280 over dallas first rd series price. Whoever told u all yr they couldn't make it past first rd did not take into consideration that Dwight missed 41 gms. Don't listen to fools. At the start of the playoffs u were -280 over dallas then -140 over clips.

The effort level in gm 3 vs GS was unacceptable though.

A lot of that was said based on what they did against Portland last year, and the fact that they might not even get home court in any series, let alone the first two. This season was a giant success for the reason that you listed, injuries. No team will probably ever be 100% healthy, but the fact that they locked in a #2 seed with their situation was an accomplishment in itself. I hope they make one more stand tonight before the Warriors finish this. It would be a testament to all the other hurdles they have overcome this year.
