What Was Your Most Pressure Bet Ever?
I have had 3 in my life and I will describe each one briefly all big time pressure for one reason or another. The amount really does not matter.

    1. Orange Bowl a few years back I bet approx 30,000 to try and get back all my football loses for the year. The bet lost and was in debt for a while.

    2. I owed a local book big money over at majorwager (sportman) and I bet a small house I inherited on a game and lost the bet. He got the house so I really did not lose anything because I never saw the cash for the house. I basically just signed over papers so the loss was much easier.

    3. A sick wager, I owed a local $7,000 going into Sunday Night last year and he had a pal who thought I was cute and I guess was attracted to me. The bookmaker asks me if I want a shot to get out and I said yes. I bet an NBA basketball game over 202.5 the coast game and the deal was if I won I was even but if I lost his friend got to spend a night with me and I guess he would of fukked me. Now this guy was 24, blonde hair and blue eyes, 6ft, 200 or so and was gay. I had no money to pay the book and loved this over so like a dick that I am I made the bet. What was the worst thing that could happen, Miles would of fukked me a few times but if the bet lost the debt remained at 7k and if I won the debt was even. It was a risk in a way but a free shot in another way because I was risking no money and only my body. I took the bed.

Boys I sweated the whole bet but the pace of the game was a fast pace and I knew I had a good shot to get over the total and get even. All these crazy thoughts though were going through my mind though if I lost the whole game worrying about pain mainly and just thinking about the thought of this guy coming over after the game and banging me all night and me squeeking where the tenants upstairs might of heard it. Ok I was fukkin scared shit. The game went over 7 minutes into the 4th qtr and I got even. The funny thing was that Miles called me later that night and told me "Too bad Mario, we would of had a great time and I would of been gentle and would of been fun " He was a top.

All 3 pressure bets and I lost 2 but won a critical one. It just goes to show we will do anything to get even. I have not made any pressure bets lately as I have had good control in money management.

What are your pressure bet stories like?

JJ, I don't know how many responses you'e going to get on this thread, because anybody else's stories are going to look pretty tame compared to yours. Guess that would be a massive understatement.

Anyway, sorry about the first 2 wagers, but you won the most important one, I would have to think.

I will not click on another JJ Gold post at the office -- even with the door closed -- unless my side of the floor is deserted.

Or, I will learn to laugh much, much more quietly.

Jj, I do not belive you too, but I wish you were true.
The only man that is your class is famous writer Bohumil Hrabal, you should really stop wasting time here and compile your posts to a book.

I do not have pressure bets, but I remember when I was 16yr kid, I found a ticket at bookie. It was a parlay (about 10 soccer events). The bettor did not noticed that his bet on Ajax was not for the advance but only for one game anf threw it away - so the tiket was open. Possible win about 1K USD, a lot of money for me at the time (I worked for less than 2USD/hour). All matches won and the last - some Juventus -800 or so - of course lost. I was disgusted.

Damn double J thats a great story. Dude u should write fiction novels for homosexuals, except of course in the novel the 3 pt shot rimmed in and out at the buzzer and u failed to cover the 202 by 2 pts and u got rammed all night by the cute 6' 200lb young stud . You contract a rare case of anal v.d. and died a couple months later holding the winning power ball ticket!

most pressure bet would have been Miami -35 at home vs. WVU about 4 years ago...laid a dime on the game and it was up by 7 at halftime...I believe Miami won by 49....I lucked out...
