i'll tell you why baseball is so good.. it's summertime, best time in the world. great weather.. it's played outdoors in the sun with a cold beer and a hot dog. it's a very relaxing slow paced game.. it's strategic, it's an intelligent game..

baseball is the only sport where if you dont fully 10000% understand it, then its boring as hell. you need to understand baseball to appreciate it. people that say baseball is boring only say it because they dont understand it fully. it's like me saying chess is boring.. i dont get it, that's why. baseball is like chess.


great game.. i love it.. 3 hrs in the sun at a live game getting a sun tan with a beer in your hand and 2 hot dogs and the nice breeze in the 84 deg weather. is there anything better.. i dont think so.

try watching hockey when you have un 5.5 -150 and +1.5 -260 for big money each game, and you are losing 3-2 with 1 min 29 to go and your goalie is pulled..

I watched the bottom of the 7th inning of Braves game yesterday afternoon. The inning lasted as long as a 45 min soccer half. The most exciting moment was watching Bobby Cox doing a work out. He walked 10 times back and forth in the dugout because he changed pitchers 5 times in one inning because they walked 4 ****ing runners with the bases loaded. Are you ****ing kidding me Nicky? What the **** of a strategic game is this? Throw strikes assholes! The strike zone is a very big target mother****ers!

i thought that was a gimme. i didn't feel i needed to mention the girls cause every poster here loves girls and know about the short skirts and the tight shorts when it's 93 deg and hot and you're watching baseball in the sun and a girl gets up and walks down the stairs of the stadium and she is wearing a tight t shirt showing her tight belly and big boobs and she is 5'7, 125 lbs and gorgeous and every guy in that section is staring at her and not even paying attention to the game..

3-2 pitch, batter is waiting for the fastball. what do you throw. curve, slider?

runner of 1st, do you send the runner, do you hit and and run, do you pitch out?

do you bunt runner to 2nd, do you hit ball to other side to move runner to 3rd.. do you squeeze him home, or do you bring the infield in.

reno, i am watching baseball right now and i love it.. watching dodgers vs pads.. it's 1-1 top 6.. it's quiet here now.. in the office with tv on.. i have an ice cold diet coke with me now and a smoked meat sandwich.. and some chips.. i am in heaven right now.. literally.. this game is so relaxing to watch and the slowness of the game is what makes it great.. it's really not stressful and just great for the mind. i am thinking during each pitch as to what will he throw, will he pull the ball cause they are not guarding the line.. i just love it.. and put in some cash on it, and you really are in heaven.
