Agree, but I think it would be equally difficult to back Brandon McCarthy. McCarthy has been riddled with injuries missing most of the last 2 seasons while Pavano has been out since 1990 lol, I guess it's the battle of who can suck less. I'll likely stay away from this game but gl if you decide to back the Rangers.

JJ I like the over to bud,I say ride the over with the hot hitting texas till they fizzle off, with two overs with the 1and 2 pitchers I think thats the play, and a sprinkle on texas might not hurt eithier.
Fuk JJ stop Fuking around time to start rolling big guy, You need to own this baseball season.
Yanks aren't paying great but huge jays fan and saw alot of Burnette,When this guys on he'll give you 7 good innings, So he's eithier going be pumped for his first start with the yankees and you can have a nap or he's going to pull a CC and your going to hunt me down. Also these yankees love them or hate them are a good ball club and should give Burnette the run support he needs,Burnette won 18 I believe with the jays last yr on a team that couldent give their starters any run support, that will not be the case this yr.

          Arlington Weather:

Today: Windy. Cloudy skies will become partly cloudy this afternoon. High 86F. Winds SW at 25 to 35 mph. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

The best play is the under. As you can see on the picture the home plate is on the north west side of the stadium. With strong winds coming from the south west you will see balls being fouled to the left field a lot. Any fly balls in the center field or right field will be brought in by the wind and hopefully be caught for easy outs.

thanks pavy looked at the weather last night but see the winds have picked up considerably, last I saw was 16mph,Those are some wicked winds,Like you said dosen't stop a pitcher from walking or giving up inside hits,But should effect the long ball.
            Nice work Pavy thanks

Exactly...If the pitchers walk in 5 players with bases loaded or give up 12 singles like the Braves game yesterday the weather has no effect on the outcome of the game.

I believe Pavano and McCarthy are not ground ball pitchers so it will definitely affect the long ball.

JJ, I am on Indians, they haven't been swept in a season opening series since 1985, i will look for that to continue.
