#2I have had them before......they are pretty good. I don't know that they are worth it at full price but they are definitely worth it at that deal. Grilling season is coming up.....Comment -

#3They are good, nothing you can't get at a decent butcher. Do not get the marinated salmon or the crab and scallop stuffed sole, both are just salted to all hell.
The steaks are decent though and that looks like a solid deal. I might get a couple. Also, they don't freeze all that well (eat w/in two or three months).Comment -

#6If you have a decent cut and cook it right...you dont put steak sauce on it....that just ruins the steak!Originally posted by jjgoldOver priced Steak is fukkin steak if you cook it right and throw some steak sauce on itComment -

#7I agree with Amby, NO sauce! Just a simple olive oil, white vinegar and seasoning marinade does the trick. I thought for $35 bucks 8 filet's and 6 burgers isnt bad plus the knife set... They're small filets but at $5 a piece I dont think many butchers can match that price right?Comment -

#8LOL that is so true. I put some in the toilet, in the elevator, etc. Add water and it will sublimate 5x faster.Originally posted by DougThe dry ice is fun to play with, too !Comment -

#10not a bad deal, nothing like a good steak. Always better to grill it at home because you get ****ed if you buy one at a sit down restarauntComment -

#11Shipping always kills these deals.
Better deal was 30% cashback, free steaks and free shipping that I posted in the past.Comment -

#14They had free shipping & free cheesecake last weekend I believe. So they'll have em again.
They must be near bankruptcy or something cause I've never seen them offer so many deals in a row.Comment -

#15They ALWAYS have deals going on at all times...not to mention once you order once they send you coupons in the mail all the time. Shipping is expensive but you have to imagine it costs them a lot to ship out with the dry ice and "cooler type" box they ship them in.Comment -

Singing Spoon
Press a warm spoon firmly against a chunk of dry ice. The spoon will scream loudly as the heat of the spoon causes the dry ice to instantly turn to gas where the two make contact. The pressure of this gas pushes the spoon away from the dry ice, and without contact, the dry ice stops sublimating. The spoon falls back into contact again, and the cycle repeats. This all happens so quickly that the spoon vibrates, causing the singing sound you hear.Comment -

#18I give the edge to the Wegmans filets.....they get some pretty good meat there. I am also partial to meat that isn't frozen even if it is flash frozen like the Omahas. Like I said before though....the Omahas are worth a shot probably for that price.Originally posted by themajormtAmby, what do you think? Wegmans filet's or try the Omaha's?Comment -

#19Why anyone would use these places is beyond me. Just like your favorite bartender, find a local butcher and get to know him/her. 26 day aged angus is very good, plus I get to pick out of a half side of beef for my meals. Do not be afraid to ask questions.Comment -

#21The steaks are very small. Unless you plan to feed supermodels you will run out of meat on the first cookout. The burgers are also very small and unless you eat a triple cheeseburger you won't get full.
I buy my meat fresh from the local butcher. I pay about $5 a pound for premium beef (ribeye, porterhouse, top sirloin steaks) and $2 a pound for pork chops.Comment
