Hi sports fans. I think most of us have heard about the "Sports Illustrated" curse in sports, where whoever gets their face on the cover of the magazine is doomed to fall on their face in the near future. I was wondering if this played into sports betting at all. I don't really have the resources to track such a trend, but I notice that the Bengals were on the cover prior to last week's fail to cover against the Jags. This week, the Colts are the cursed. Should I take the 13 1/2 points and take the Rams on the road? The SI curse suggests, YES. It would be pretty simple to go back over a period of time and see how teams did against the spread after being on the SI cover, but I'm just too lazy. Anyone else?
