Boys all of you know that i am the master of nhl series price calls. I have made some of the most historic calls on series price upsets in nhl history right here on this site, This year after carefull examination of these oh so close series i have decided there are only a few choices.
the plays are as follows
winnipeg jets +142- the jets are the worst possible team that anaheim could face. in hockey when you have these types of team it always ends in an upset. see the jets fans have been starving for this while in anaheim they expect to fold like usual. the jets are not as good as the ducks obviously but there isnt much difference, the goalies are even and the jets might be better. certainly winnipeg presents size and speed issues for the ducks who cant seem to handle those kinds of teams. im calling the jets in 6 here
wild +126- ken hitchcock has built his resume of the heroics of ed belfour and a bullshit goal by brett hull. the man is a great reg season coach where a bad goal allowed cna be overcome but in the playoffs the goailes have to be sharp. unfortunately for the blues they are in tough again. this time they face a hot goalie and i honestly dont think the blues have a good netminder to match. on top of that the blues dont have that star player who can come up big when it counts. the wild are solid all around and i honestly feel they can come out of the west.
