#41. Sights that are not on any stock excahange would NEVER block a US IP address...
2. I remeber reading some where if they try to block the ISP, civil liberty organizations would sue the Feds. For something along the lines of censorship...ISP block would also draw heat from the WTO...
3. If you notice bush said NOTHING about the gambling bill when he singed the safe ports act... They're goin' to have a HUGE problem trying to enforce the banking portion of the bill... Isp block is all but impossible
Let me know what you think...Comment -

#5First of all, the new law ONLY allows law enforcement to seek court orders to block financial institutions who are breaking this law.
This new law does not give cause or mandate that gaming companies, forums, odds sites, capper sites or anyone else to be blocked.
So the ones that could be blocked are the Netellers and Firepays of the world.
Also, keep in mind that this involves a court order. It will will be several years before we see a site blocked under this law if ever.Comment -

#6I don't think any of us U.S. players will have to worry about our IP's at all. My thoughts are that the U.S. is going to try to do what they did with paypal, and shut'um down for gamming purposes.Comment -

#9Neteller is a public company operated in the Isle of Man which I think is a territory of the UK.
They may close but new methods will take their place. Thats for sure. Neteller was a one man show when Paypal pulled out. There will always be transfer options.Comment -

#12JJGold is starting his own money transfer company thats why he wants to scare everyone out of Neteller. Just kidding...
I have no reason to believe Neteller will be closing any time soon, and since they are not a gambling web site they aren't violating any US laws, and even if they were, they are outside of the jurisdiction of the US. Neteller is, in my opinion, a much safer place for your money than most of the casinos, poker rooms, and sportsbooks out there.
